Timberland showrooms
Built today, to reflect the past, with a commitment to the future. Seven layers of history were uncovered while working with the New York City Preservation Commission to restore the storefront. The facade features the historical colors, the cast iron front arch from 1860, and the original red brick. Doors and light fixtures recovered from Timberland’s original New York City store were reused. 100% reclaimed wood was used for the floors, the ceiling beams, and the tabletops. The wall fixtures were made using FSC certified wood from responsibly managed forests. Non-toxic paints and scrap porcelain were used to make and Ecotech floor.
